# How to buy a domain and link it to your store directly from your dashboard with ease

You can now buy a domain name right from your YouCan dashboard, so you don't have to go searching through different external providers. This new feature makes the whole process of reserving and connecting a custom domain to your store incredibly simple and fast.

## Steps to buy a domain name from your dashboard

### 1. Go to your store's settings

From your dashboard, head to the Store section and then click on Domains.

### 2. Search for a domain name

Enter the name you want to reserve into the search bar.

- Choose the extension that works for you (for example: .com, .net, .ma, etc.).
- Then click on the search button.

### 3. Check availability

The search results will show up on the screen:

- If the domain name is already taken, you'll need to choose a different one.
- If it’s available, the price will appear on the same page.
