Since having an online shop implies that your customers do not see the products before purchasing, you will need to provide them with flexible payment options that will encourage them to buy from your store, Cash On Delivery is your go-to option when it comes to helping you in gaining your customer’s trust.
Cash On Delivery means that the buyer will pay once they receive the order. You can even use this payment method strategically and provide them with a return option if they are not satisfied with the product.
Steps to activate Cash On Delivery (COD):
Go to Settings in your seller area and click on Payment.
Enable Cash On Delivery.
Customize the Thank You message that will appear once your customers confirm the payment method.
Scroll down to "Checkout information" and enable the information that you require from your customer to confirm the payment process. (you can check this article for more information about this section).
Click on Save.
