What is an affiliate program?
An affiliate program is a marketing tool used in the eCommerce industry to help companies and business owners drive traffic to their websites or promote their products. It works by paying external affiliates commissions.
How to use YouCan’s affiliate program?
YouCan make it easy for you to benefit from affiliate marketing. If you want to earn extra money without disturbing your everyday life, follow these steps:
1- If you are already registered in YouCan, log in to your store. If not, you need to create an account first.
2- Once you are in the seller area, go to the Affiliate page, copy the link and send it to your friends and anyone interested in starting an online business.
If you are a blogger or an influencer, you can directly post it in your account and tell your followers about the opportunities YouCan offers them.
How does the program work?
if one of the people you invited created a store in YouCan and started their business, here is how you benefit from it: you will be able to collect a balance of 50% from the credit bought by the affiliated store for 6 Months.
Overview on the affiliate program page
The first thing you will see on the affiliate program page is the amount of the unpaid earnings which is the payout you did not receive yet.
You have three sections on the affiliate program page:
Affiliated stores: in this section, you have all the names of stores that were created using the affiliate link you shared so you can keep track of them.
Note: For security measures, we only show you the first and the last letter of the stores name.
You will also find all the information you need about these stores; the date of store creation, the earnings you made out of these stores, and the status of the stores to know whether they are still active or not.
Payout history: you will find here all the information regarding your payouts, you have:
- The payment ID for your store
- Process date refers to the date when the payout will be processed. The payout is treated between 3 to 6 days, usually on the first days of the month.
- Revenue: which is the total earnings that you will receive that month from all the affiliated stores.
- The status: which either is paid or unpaid.
Note: Please remember that you will receive the payout for every month on the 25th of the next month.
Settings: This section helps you to customize how you will receive your payment. You have two options:
1- You can convert the payout to your balance. To do so, activate the option and click on save.
2- You can receive the payout directly to your PayPal account. To do so, add your email address and click on save.
