The steps to benefit from the coupon feature are very simple since YouCan made the process easy for you. You just need to follow these steps :
- You can either click on Add a coupon or go to New Coupon.
- Enter the discount code that you personally customize, it can contain numbers and letters.
- Specify the discount value.
- Select the type of discount, whether you want it to be a fixed amount or a percentage that will be deducted from the order.
- Choose the validity period of the coupon.
- Pick the product that will benefit from the discount and the type of payment that will be affected. These two options are not mandatory.
- Add a short description of the coupon, it can be the reason why you offer the coupon or a call-to-action sentence.
- Click on save and you can view your coupon in the All coupons section.
- Once you finish setting up the coupon, go to Store and click on Theme.
- Go to the Checkout setting and enable Show coupon.
- Click on save as a last step.
PS: The Usage Limit section helps you to specify the number of times the coupon can be used. If you do not want the coupon to undergo this setting, you can simply leave the box empty.
