To make it easy for your customers to use your store, you need to organize the sections and create a consistent sitemap as a guide for your customers.
The Menu section that appears at the top and bottom of the store helps you organize your store and make it easy to use. It redirects customers to the pages and categories you've created without wasting time searching the store. They serve as a facilitator and help you structure your store.
Steps to set up the menu section
Before setting up your menus, make sure that the pages are already created to be able to add them to the menus.
You have 5 sections by default in your store, you can assign pages and change the name of the section as you want. Follow these steps:
From your admin interface, go to the Store section and click on Menus
A page will appear that contains 5 sections to customize. These sections represent the menu components that will appear in your store and will help you categorize all the pages (products, collections, blogs, etc.)
Contact Us: This section helps you group all the pages that show your customers how they can contact you.
About Us: This section helps you group all the pages that give information about your business and how you operate.
Header Menu:
General Information: This section groups pages that contain general information about your business such as terms and conditions.
Main Menu: This section displays the pages you want at the top of the store
Note: You can change the name of these 5 sections and customize them as you want, we give you a template that you can follow in your early stages.
Click on "Edit links list".
If you want, change the name of the menu.
Enter the name of the link you want to add to this menu.
Choose the source of the link (page, category, product, external).
In the last field, put the link of the page (make sure the link contains the correct name).
Click on Add.
If you wish, you can drag the links to change their order.
As a last step, click on Save.
Follow these steps for each menu section and customize them as you wish.
