How do you professionally handle Abandoned Carts?

Abandoned carts in the context of e-commerce, are those products that your store visitor didn't eventually order after putting them in his shopping cart.

There are many reasons that may push the customer not to complete the purchase process, but in YouCan, you still have a way to attract him again with the abandoned carts feature.

In this section, we provide you with the ability to send an email to the customer, with a link to his abandoned shopping cart, so he can complete his order process if he wishes to do so.

For this procedure, go to the Orders Section, then click on Abandoned Carts. You will see a page with 4 sections:


1. Dashboard: This shows you all details about abandoned carts in your store.

2. Abandoned Carts: displays a table that collects the different abandoned carts in your store within 4 columns that include: (Customer, Reminded, Creation date, and Actions).

3. Settings: Here you activate and modify the reminder time for different abandoned carts, (you have a maximum of 4 reminders):

  • Activate the reminder as you see fit within a maximum of four times.
  • Choose the time to send each email.
  • Click on Save.

4. Email Templates: Here you can edit the content of each reminder email.
