Upsells let you offer additional products to customers during checkout, increasing your average order value.
What are upsells?
An upsell is shown after a customer adds a product to cart, encouraging them to purchase a complementary item. YouCan tracks conversion rates per upsell.
Creating an upsell
- Go to Up Sells
- Click Add an upsell
- Select trigger product and upsell product
- Set message and discount if applicable
- Save
Upsell table columns
Name, Status (toggle), Creation date, Conversion rate, and Actions (view/edit/delete/duplicate).
Tips
- Offer products complementary to what the customer is already buying
- Keep the upsell price reasonable
- Monitor conversion rates and adjust underperforming offers
